The Location -This peaceful retreat is elevated on the gentle hillside of Wahgunyah Road in Nelson Bay. Take a short stroll down to two popular beaches. Dutchies Beach is only 600m from the house, a lovely picturesque bay with a shaded beach and calm waters, enjoy picnic and BBQ's in the reserve. From Dutchies you can follow a scenic bridal path which hugs the coast line into Nelson Bay (approx 800m from Dutchies). Bagnalls Beach is the other local beach only 450m from the duplex, enjoy a walk along the beach or through the reserve, both reserves offer great children's playgrounds, BBQ and picnic facilities and public amenities. The township of Nelson Bay is just over 1km away, there is plenty of land and water based activities and entertainment here including many cafes, award winning restaurants and boutique shops.

The Duplex - This duplex offers all the comforts of a home, perfectly positioned away from the busyness of Nelson bay CBD yet only a short walk to the shops, marina and beaches. Set on the first floor this three bedroom duplex with light filled interiors offers a roomy open plan living area that continues out to a picturesque undercover balcony with stunning distant water views, outdoor furnishings and a gas BBQ perfect for alfresco dining. The lounge area comprises of comfortable seating, a flat screen TV and ceiling fans. The duplex is fitted with a dining table and six chairs, with the neat and tidy kitchen offering a full fridge/freezer, microwave and oven/stove top.

Continuing through the duplex you will find three bedrooms, the spacious master bedroom is fitted with a queen size bed,the second bedroom is also fitted with a queen size bed and the third is fitted with two single beds, all three bedrooms offer pedestal fans for your comfort. The three way bathroom provides a standard size bath, large glass shower, vanity and toilet. The internal laundry features a washing machine. The property is beautifully landscaped and offers guest an undercover carport to park your vehicle. There are definitely smoke alarms in the property.

    Six of us stayed here for 4 nights and the space was comfortable. Loved the deck with the morning sun and afternoon breeze. Nice, beach themed decor made you feel like you were on holiday. Big range of cutlery, crockery, utensils and bedding. Place was clean, tidy and easily accessible.
    Only downside, small fridge, no clothes pegs and no air con which in summer would be a requirement.
