The Location - This holiday home is situated in a quiet street only 300m from the picturesque Bagnalls Beach which offers bay waters great for kayaking, picnic tables and playgrounds at either end. There is a lovely Thai restaurant and General Store/takeaway which is a short 600m from the house and continuing in the same direction is Conroy Park (another park offering picnic tables, BBQ's and a playground). This then leads on to Corlette Beach and the Anchorage Marina (1.5km from house) which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Salamander Shopping Centre is 2.5kms away and the township of Nelson Bay is 3kms away.
The House - This lovely two storey brick home is located in a quiet street in Corlette. The ground entrance level features a spacious tiled living room with a large flat screen TV, stereo, an older style bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet and a laundry which provides a top loading washing machine and dryer. Guests also have access to the double lock up garage which houses a table tennis and other games.
Upstairs is the main air conditioned tiled living room with ceiling fan, flat screen TV, dining area with a lovely leafy outlook and fully equipped kitchen which offers a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and stove top, microwave and a breakfast bar with stools. There is also a balcony off the living room with outdoor seating. The house offers three bedrooms, two with queen size beds, ceiling fans and built-in robes. The third bedroom is fitted with a set of tri bunks (double on bottom and single on top) with a single trundle underneath, all the bedrooms are carpeted. The main bathroom features a bath, glass shower, vanity with the toilet located separately.
Other features include Wi-Fi, a large fenced rear yard with outdoor patio area, outdoor setting, a BBQ and clothes line. The spacious driveway offers plenty of room for cars or a boat. There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.
