The Location - The Apartment is located in the Poplars Complex at Nelson Bay. An easy stroll to Nelson Bay beach (500m) where there is safe swimming and kayak / paddle board hire (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter).and to Nelson Bay CBD and Marina (700m).  It's central location means that guests are ideally placed for the towns vibrant selection of activities. Nelson Bay has become renowned for its fresh seafood, awarding winning restaurants, dolphin and whale watching, diving, fishing and aquatic activities. Nelson Bay offers a variety of shops and boutiques, a number of restaurants, bars and cafes serving a broad range of food styles. Just east of the unit (600m) you will find the tiny aquatic reserve of Fly Point. Offering exceptional diving and snorkeling with an abundance of marine life, you will discover native species unique to Port Stephens. Also at Fly Point Park there are picnic tables and bbq's, skate park for the kids and markets at the Weekends. The lovely Shoal Bay is a short 3km drive.

The Apartment - Sit back on your private sun-soaked balcony with a glass of wine and watch the boats cruise the calm waters of Port Stephens. This ideal two bedroom apartment is colourful, bright and homely. With floor boards and cosy rugs throughout, ceiling fans in every room and electric heating in the lounge room. TV's are offered in the living room (with Foxtel standard package) and both bedrooms plus a DVD player. The Balcony flows from the living and dining area offering lovely water views, a bright kitchen complete with wall oven, microwave, full fridge and plenty of bench space. Bedroom one offers a queen sized bed, ceiling fan and TV and bedroom two offers a tri bunk (double on bottom and single up top) The bathroom has a bath with separate shower and the internal laundry features top loading washing machine and dryer and ironing facilities. 

Take in the magnificent views sitting on the communal grassed court yard or have a refreshing swim in the sparkling in-ground pool with wading area for peace of mind with little swimmers.  A communal under cover security parking area is provided beneath the building for two cars.

There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

    Lovely unit , it wasn’t suitable for us to track 5 flights of stairs with a 2 years old.
    Too many keys to get in and out. Our fan did not work

    Good location, nice views, reasonable price . Common areas and externally freshly painted and clean.
    On the negative the apartment was dusty and in need of a good clean. The balcony was covered in cobwebs and the outdoor seats were dirty. The interior, furniture, styling was dated but no big deal. Overall if everything was spotless we’d have no gripes but it wasn’t encouraging to come back to.
