Location - The house is situated at lovely Fingal Bay just 200m from beach. The beach is surf patrolled, great for swimming for all ages. A lovely walk to the end of the beach brings you to the Fingal Spit that can be crossed at low tide with caution. There is great beach and rock fishing, walking and bike tracks through National Park, look out and picnic area's at Barry's Park just 300m away, restaurants, general store, take away and service station. Shoal Bay is just a short 3km drive or bike ride (along a lovely bike path) and Nelson Bay is 6km away.

The House - Beautifully and stylishly renovated throughout in late 2017, this three bedroom, two bathroom house is located walking distance close to Fingal Bay beach. Open plan air conditioned living, kitchen and dining area with tasteful floor boards, beamed ceiling and down lights. The house features a wall mounted TV in the lounge room with a DVD player and a corner lounge, solid timber dining table with 6 chairs and a well equipped trendy kitchen with large fridge freezer, oven and stove top, microwave and dishwasher. A private fenced garden area flows beautifully from the living area through glass sliding doors, with a lovely undercover deck offering outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ.

All the bedrooms are carpeted, bedroom one has a queen sized bed, ceiling fan, glass doors opening out to the garden and a wall mounted flat screen TV, bedroom two offers a double bed and bedroom three offers a tri bunk.The house comes with two sophisticated bathrooms, the ensuite with shower and the main bathroom with shower over a stylish free standing bath tub. The property also features an internal laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities. A high chair is also available for our younger guests.

The Beach House also offers off street parking for two vehicles and easy access level boat parking.

There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

    Loved the deck! And the proximity to local shops and the beach was second to none.
    Bedrooms are quite small however its really not not a problem for a weekend away.

    Great place to stay. Location is fantastic as close to beach, cafe and general store across the road. Great entertaining area inside and out. Well appointed kitchen. The rear glass doors open fully to the deck and the retractable insect screen was wonderful.
    Some down sides we hope they receive as suggestions for improvement are
    -General cleanliness was not at professional level so we cleaned upon arrival and a musty smell we suspect from lounge or rug.
    There is zero hanging space for clothes in any bedroom nor an outdoor clothes rack for rainy weather and drawers need a good clean.
    The information book needs updating as contact with the property manager regarding the broken air conditioner was confusing and time consuming.
    The master bedroom could use an insect screen for during the night.
    Thinking that this property is a work in progress as the new gardens and side/rear deck are very nice. Enjoyable stay.

    Great location just across the road from shops and around corner from beach. Property would be improved if it had proper blinds in the main bedroom - currently only has sheer curtains that lets all light in. There was rain when we stayed and we also really missed not having a dryer. Linen is not included and Winning holidays refused to organise hire for me which was annoying.
