Beach House on James Patterson

Recently renovated three bedroom house with the thought of a family beach holiday in mind.

Everything has been thought of for this beach holiday house, so close to Birubi beach you can just grab your surf board and start walking. The shops at Anna Bay are also close by and you can purchase all that you need from here. Sand boarding, camel rides and 4 wheel drives on the dunes are also close by, as is the Birubi Beach surf club.

The house has a lounge room with air conditioning and a large TV enough seating for the whole family and a ceiling fan.

The dining room is located separate from the fully equipped kitchen and lounge room. Bedroom one has a queen bed whilst bedroom two and three has a tri bunk in each.

There is a fully fenced yard and it has a covered area with a BBQ to suit those afternoon or morning BBQ's that are a requirement for a Great Family Beach holiday.

Please note that the fireplace is not available for guest use.
There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

• Cute Cottage....Misleading Description

  First of all, we thought this was a cute cottage with comfortable fittings. However, it was done a disservice by its misleading description.
  The cottage was described as having 2 bathrooms, one being an ensuite. The ‘ensuite’ serviced the whole house and is the only bathroom on the premises.
  The day before arrival, we received what was likely an automated text to say the bathtub wasn’t able to be used. From previous reviews plus the appearance, the tub hasn’t been usable for years!
  We were offered alternative accommodation if this was an issue for us. Yes, we could be moved, at a minimum extra cost of over $300!
  There were a few minor maintenance problems in the house. However, as the phones appeared to be manned by a call centre in the Philippines, I would not expect immediate or satisfactory response.
  Overall, I think most people would enjoy their stay here if the facilities of the cottage were truthfully described. This dishonesty only encourages people to have complaints....justifiably so.
  This is my first review in many holiday accommodation stays. I don’t like to be negative but I think people should be aware of the true condition of their booked accommodation and should expect what they paid for.
  I would recommend this cottage only by relaying the exact condition of the property.

  The pictures used do not accurately portray the property. The house iwas much much older than expected. There is nowhere to put any essentials in the shower. We had to make the beds on arrival. You could not leave anything out in the kitchen as ants would invade immediately.. For a family of 4 it was a very small & lacks essential storage I.e towel hangers & toiletries. You could not even use a hair dryer in the shower as there is no power point
