Horizons Golf Club, Villa 107

The Location - Horizons Golf Club is a par 72, 18 hole golf course designed by Graham Marsh and Ross Watson. In addition to the course there is also a pro shop, clubhouse and cafe. All this and just over two kilometres from the Salamander Shopping Centre and Tavern and just ten minutes drive to Nelson Bay for boutique shopping, restaurants and the marina.

The Villa - This refurbished villa is right on the golf course and close to the clubhouse, perfect for a weekend escape or more leisurely paced school holiday break. There is open plan living with reverse cycle air conditioning, flat screen TV with DVD player, a dining area and a kitchen with full fridge, microwave, two hot plates and a bench top oven. The bedroom has a king bed that can be split to make two king singles and there is an inner-spring sofa bed in the living room. One bathroom with a shower (no bath), plus access to an external shared laundry with washer an dryer and off street parking for one car.

Relax on the patio after a busy day, watch the sun go down and you may even see some of our local kangaroos.

Book your golf when you book your accommodation (in 'Extras'), and if you are organising a group, ask about our 'Play and Stay,' packages too!

Linen packs are provided at this property for the main bed. Guests will need to bring or hire linen if the sofa bed is to be used. If you would like beds made please contact our office (small charge applicable)

Unfortunately the pool at the property is closed until further notice - This decision was made by the Strata committee, and we apologise for any inconvenience.

  Very good accomm., nice and clean, well furnished, comfortable bed. Too many interruptions with your texts. Must complain about the state of the pool area, even though you advised it was closed,really detracts from the whole environment. Black water, ducks and poo everywhere, BBQ falling apart, tennis courts covered in golf carts. Very sad to see, it could be beautiful with a little work. Inconvenient to go to Nelson Bay for key. Ever heard of a lockbox.

  1. Extremely difficult obtaining the the key and arranging pickup
  2. Disappointed in making the bed on arrival
  3.General cleanliness was good except for spiders webs in the corners of the main living area and all over the patio furniture
  4.Welcome pack/start up pack was ordinary,with no car very difficult to arrange transportation on arrival
  5 Some main attractions/ facilities un-usable (main swimming pool ,tennis court & dinning in club house.
  6. Option for outdoor dining (BBQ) would add a nice alternative
  7 . Better explanation on no small soaps, once use shampoo would be appreciated
  
  At $330 a night it certainly needs to step up to match the expectations
